It looks great on my stainless fridge. The storage times listed are definitely taking the better safe than sorry approach, but are still a good reference points. However, if only a day or two over what it says, the food may still be OK, in those situations, just check the food before throwing it out...cause it may still be good.
This is a great tool for any kitchen. It is not too large, but large enough you can read the information. I use it as a reminder as well as a resource. Would purchase it again.
