It's not obvious, but the lower and larger zone can only cool to white wine temperatures (40-54 degrees) while the smaller upper zone only does reds (54-65). We bought this unit without realizing that as you'd never think that both zones couldn't be set to either temp range. Plus, the topmost shelf doesn't fit larger bottles very well...labels will scrape when opening the shelf. And, it's not exactly a 'silent' unit...the motor is louder than our main kitchen fridge.

We love love love this item . The bottles are set to the perfect temperature / whites and reds / . The item has a great BLUE LED light which really gives the item a WOW factor when entertaining. So quiet we sometimes wonder if its on . WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS ITEM
